Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Olivea | Premium Holiday Homes. Our mission is to offer you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Making a reservation means you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Accomodation charge
Total charge and payment method should follow the terms defined on the day of the reservation, unless mutually agreed otherwise, and provided the reservation has been made properly (i.e. actual number and age of guests, correct dates etc). Olivea welcomes:
- All adults, irrespective of age, race, gender identity and expression, religion, or disability.
- Babies <under the age of 2>, free of charge
- Children <between 3 and 15 years old>, at a reduced extra charge
- Pets, upon request with a surcharge of 100€ for specialized anti-allergic cleaning at check-out and subject to their owner's written confirmation that they do not sit or sleep on the furniture, they do not cause damage or litter Olivea interior or exterior areas and they do not disturb the peace of other guests.
2. Reservation & Payment policies
Receipt of an advance payment within 3 days from the written confirmation of the reservation is needed to secure the booking.
Advance payment required is 30% of the total accommodation cost. The balance payoff is payable in full 7 days prior to arrival date.
Payments can be made either by bank transfer to the owner's bank account at the National Bank of Greece (ΙΒΑΝ GR5101101200 000012000540463), or by credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro). The credit card used at the time of making the reservation must be valid for the entire stay. Olivea reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.
Booking is subject to availability.
3. Cancellation policy
Advance payments are fully refundable in case of cancellation up to 60 days prior to the date of arrival (minus any bank/admin charges).
For cancellations made between 30 to 60 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of advance deposit is refundable (minus any bank/admin charges).
In case of cancellation within 30 days prior to the date of arrival, advance payment is non-refundable.
The total cost of the booking is due in the case of no-show or early departure.
Requests for cancellations or changes must be confirmed in written.
4. Arrival and departure
Check in: 14.00 (earlier check in possible upon availability)
Check out: 11.00am (later check out possible upon availability)
Luggage storage complimentary, upon request 3 days prior to departure.
Pick up from the port available upon request 7 days prior to arrival at an extra charge.
Please let us know your arrival details at least 3 days prior to arrival.
5. Liability
The use of Olivea | Premium Holiday Homes premises and amenities are offered on the condition that guests use them respectfully and safely. Children must be under supervision of an adult at all times when staying at Olivea.
Olivea accepts no responsibility for guest accidents, injuries, illness, death during their stay or loss/damage of their property and belongings however caused. Equally, Olivea cannot be held liable for any damage or loss caused to any guest vehicle parked in the complimentary parking area of the property.
Olivea provides safety boxes for the storage of their valuables. Customers are responsible for following user instructions properly. Any lost property found, will be kept for a period of 1 month. We offer to send them via delivery at the expense of the guest.
Unexpected internet connection, power and water supply cuts may occasionally occur on Greek islands. Please report any such problems; we will do anything in our power to re-establish supply or remedy the situation, but cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage caused by such shortages.
Olivea cannot be kept liable for any furniture, decorative items or property environment appearing in Olivea website photographs, which may have been changed or removed from the property since the photographs were taken.
6. Complaints & Force Majeure
Please bring any complaints or issues that occur during your stay at Olivea to our immediate attention. We will strive to restore the situation the soonest possible and to the best of our professional ability and local infrastructure.
If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to provide you with the Olivea Holiday Home you have booked, we will do our utmost to find alternative accommodation of a similar size and standard. Should this not be possible or acceptable by you, we will refund all payments to Olivea in full, but not be liable for any further obligations or claims. In the event of Force Majeure incidents such as fires, floods, civil disturbances, strikes, ship itinerary changes, severe weather, acts of God etc. Olivea cannot be held responsible for any delay, inconvenience or expenses caused.
7. Security Deposit & Conduct
Olivea will pre-authorize the main guest's credit card upon arrival, which will be charged in case of damages such as breaks, stains, damage to objects, furniture, appliances, fixtures, loss of keys etc. to Olivea property or other people within the property.
Olivea is not allowed to force any guest to leave the accommodation earlier than agreed, unless the guest:
a) breaches current Terms & Conditions
b) is infected with a contagious disease or a disease that causes distress to the rest of guests
c) violates proper behavioural conduct (such as disturbs the peace of neighbours, breaches local legislation, causes damage to people or property etc.) Please note that parents/guardians are kept responsible for their children's behaviour.
8. Disputes
By completing a reservation you agree to the above Terms & Conditions. Please note, that should a dispute be taken to court, Greek law will be used as the basis for deciding the dispute and the law courts in Greece will have jurisdiction.
